Digital tablets have had anemic sales and contradictory reviews. Pen and note paper replacements, have improved, but sometimes cannot convert poor handwriting into editable typed text. Digital tablets designed for artists have gotten more widespread use. In both cases there is potential for greater functionality and ease of use. There may be a shift in this market soon with a new and powerful player entering the field.
